(Destin, FL) Several widely-renowned winemakers, distillers, and other spirits industry celebrities will be mixing with locals and visitors at "Winemakers and Shakers" on Friday April 28th at Wine World in Destin. This intimate tasting party will kick-off the annual South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival.
From 4 til 6pm, those who attend will have the chance to hear directly from and even personally meet industry leaders such as Harlen Wheatley of Buffalo Trace, Franco Massolino, Wes Henderson of Angel's Envy, Don Hartford of Jackson Family Wines, Laurent Gruet, and more. Guests will be sampling these delicious products alongside artisan cheeses. Every year, this meet & greet delights craft enthusiasts, and appeals to those who may or may not end up at the Grand Tasting on Saturday. It's a smaller, and more relaxed preview of what will continue to transpire over the full weekend, with face-to-face interaction with extraordinary figures in the wine and spirits world. For those who will want to continue the party, the Craft Beer & Spirits Jam and other activities will begin down the road at Grand Boulevard at 6pm... Since Winemakers & Shakers is of a more intimate nature, tickets tend to sell out before the day of. We recommend getting them ahead of time to save a few dollars and save your spot!
